Mock Trials

A mock trial exercise most closely represents a truncated trial in which opening statements, evidence and closing arguments are presented to mock jurors recruited from the trial or a matched venue. It is more structured than a traditional focus group, involves attorney presentations and usually lasts one or more days. We combine qualitative and quantitative methods to assess potential juror reactions to your case by tracking mock juror’s assessments throughout the mock trial as well as in their deliberations to a verdict and during focused discussion.
Mock trials facilitate assessment of: liability and damages; credibility of witnesses; impact of specific evidence; uncovering errors in trial strategy and fine-tuning the tonality and persuasiveness of case presentations; the effectiveness of graphics and other demonstrative exhibits.
